The black glass-front cabinet is the anchor of the dining room, and the blue-and-white ceramics inside it are the reason the rest of the palette works. Collections belong on display when they are this good.
A pale linen chair and a faded coral and navy Turkish rug keep the room from going too formal, and a brass tapered sconce with a white drum shade throws light back onto the cabinet in the evening.
